[Yanel-dev] Yanel on Java SE8

Hi,

according to
https://github.com/wyona/yanel/blob/master/src/build/build.properties
Yanel is still coded against the Java SE 6 API, correct?

Regarding performance and memory management, a huge bunch of improvements
have been introduced in SE7 and mainly SE8.

Did anybody run Yanel on Java SE 8?

Currently, Yanel comes with Tomcat 7 which would also run on Java SE8, so
no changes would be required regarding Tomcat.
