[Yanel-dev] Hosted Maven Repos for your realm

Hi Michael,

thanks for mentioning about our realm's own maven repo that we have to move
as well.

So I investigated a bit on the options available and thought that it might
be interesting for others too that want to include other libraries into
their own Yanel based realms.

1) Run your own maven repo on a server (disadvantage: you have to set it up,
make sure it is running, version upgrades?)
2) As I try to avoid any administrative tasks like server maintenance and
infrastructure monitoring, I found a guideline how to host your Maven
repository in a github.com repository:
http://cemerick.com/2010/08/24/hosting-maven-repos-on-github/

3) ... other options? I know, for larger enterprise development projects,
you would need Nexus Sonatype or alike... but that's an overkill for our
project.

Cheers
Balz
