what I meant is that issue creation and changes are automatically 
sending notifications to this mailing list.
Similar to Bugzilla does today.

If traffic should increase, then we can always create an additional 
channel for these messages.

The only problem is that I cannot find a "switch" to turn this on :-(

(For commit/push messages there is a switch under "service hooks"  and 
one can do https://github.com/blog/811-reply-to-comments-from-email, but 
that's not what I suggest above).
