Might this then be related to
http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=XALANJ-2091 as we seem
to always use an older version that 2.7.1 (at least in a bare Yanel): Xalan
2.7.0 ( or the 2.6.0 version from the JDK:
