Split this bug into many to help manage priorities and estimates:

Now bug 7054.


- Offer at least two layouts (see data-repo/data/app2, data-repo/data/app3,
...)

- Fix 404 (for example

This has already been done by Simon in bug 6765 with enhancements pending in
bug 6955, and integrated into the toolbar by Michi.

I think Michi already did that, is there still something to be done there?

This is already well covered by bug 5329 and bug 6897 IMHO.
