This has many problems:
 -  using a local Ant installation or version (like we do for continuous
integration ATM, IIRC we use 1.7.1 instead of 1.6.5 for Yanel core for example)
is much more painful than it should be: you have to copy the libraries in the
wanted Ant (and if it's a system one it may even be impossible)
 - ditto for upgrading
 - it requires many copies of Ant in svn, where we could have only one single
pristine copy per version and just use svn:externals to pick one for each
project
