It would only work with Tomcat. but if you install yanel via binary, it will
install a tomcat and deploy yanel inthere. this is is the usecase where this
updater is thought for. since it is not thought be used when installed via svn
(then svn will be your updater) or for a future usecase 'debian package' (where
the updates would be handled via apt-get). 
this was the plan at this time.
maybe there are better ways.
