------- Comment #1 from simon.litwan at wyona.org 2008-11-11 23:08 -------
tinyMCE is under LGPL which is, as far as i understand, not compatible with our
licence, except via linking e.g. maven. or an
resource-type-installer-resource-type. but not including in a binary. but maybe
i'm wrong, im not a licenseing specialist.

probably there is also an apache licensed editor out there.

there is a tinyMCE resource-type at
https://svn.wyona.com/repos/public/yanel/contributions/resources/tinymce/ just
check it out, register the resource-type in your yanel.
see the docs at
https://svn.wyona.com/repos/public/yanel/contributions/resources/tinymce/yanel-htdocs/doc/index.html

i guess we should implement a wellformed checker/wellformer into this
resource-type because the editor could write back not wellformed content which
would break the view of the page. or find an editor which is doing this.

i think it would be easy to allow installing of yulup after visiting the first
time your newly installed yanel. e.g. click here to get yulup.
but yulup is under GPL which is even more restrictive. maybe wyona can do it as
the copyright holder. but would consequently release yulup under apache instead
of gpl.
