applied in r24140. thanks to jonathan.

i think we should consider remove the slash in path as jonathan mentioned. i'm
not sure how much code is allready using this path as it is. how much work would
it be?

for me it's not clear if it makes sense this path should be absolute. it's just
absolute to the realm. i would say no because it's not absolute in a web
context. in the web context it's allways relative to the realm. right?
