I have just tested it and save works fine with protection, whereas 
delete doesn't delete but no login dialog pops up.

Also logging out from Yulup menu doesn't popup a dialog anymore, but the 
logout seems to happen, but "Logout from ..." does not disappear.

I guess that must a regression of the recent core changes.
