Of course! Since we are not building our own transfer protocol, the 
introspection must be as general as possible to be used with every 
possible system.

Exactly. As mentioned above, since we are relying on whatever transfer 
method the CMS supports, we have to be able to tell the client which 
transfer method it should use to talk to the server.
