Well, basically, not at all. I am not sure if they are planning to use
XULRunner as their only platform, or if they maintain a version for
integration with a web browser (Firefox/SeaMonkey extension) plus the
stand-alone version based on XULRunner.
However, should they be switching to XULRunner exclusively, then they
are definitely heading for a stand-alone version, which, of course,
wouldn't bridge the gap between browsing and editing.
XTech 2066 will tell (hopefully).
