Agreed!

What I would like to have discussed beforehand (because that will
generate the most noise I guess) is "fragment editing" support.

If you look at how the ulysses about page implements it one is given
the choice to checkout "news", "about", "layout xslt", "layout css" as
"document fragments".

First of all I would't consider layout and css files "document
fragments", they're simply seperate resources. So at least the GUI
label is misleading here.

Moreover docment fragments a. usually share one single stylesheet and
b. are glued together somehow (header, navigation), whereas the
stylesheet usually is written for glue + fragments.

So what's needed is a way to specify the glue, for which I coined the
term "view template". And a way to specify how to glue the pieces
together. I proposed using xi:include directives for that.

I also think that we can gain quite a bit of flexibility by replacing
"document fragments" with "document set". By assigning documents (edit
commands) to a document set you request the client to synchronize
transactions of all participants.

Re ulysses about page: I think it's perfectly fine to specify multiple
documents / edit directives within one introspection file without
suggesting that they're otherwise related.

WDYT?
