btw, how does SVN handle this? Is it also packing the commit message 
into an evelope together with the actual content?

I have just downloaded ngrep and will try to see what it says ;-) So far 
it's a great btw :-)

yes, I think it would be nice that Neutron is supporting something like 
this, whereas as you are pointing out above it shouldn't be hardcoded.

I will do some ngrep on Subversion  ... ;-)
